So, it’s just me tonight again because AJA and I were a little busy at a birthday party tonight (try to guess whose). We had a lot of fun, got to play some board games, and we ate some of the best chicken fingers I’ve ever had.

I’ll tell her more of this very soon, but I just want to brag on her for a second and say that she is AMAZING.
This semester has thrown a lot at AJA, and while she loves the work she’s doing, she is running constantly to get everything done. I’m so awed by and proud of her drive and the way that she manages to get everything done amidst the extracurricular chaos that sometimes hits out of nowhere.
AJA is also extremely ambitious, and I have to admit that I’m kind of jealous of it. She’s worked hard for the things she has achieved, but I am constantly surprised by how big she dreams and how hard she works despite the insecurities and fears that try to stop her. I can’t imagine just going for half the things she has, but it’s one of the things that makes her so uniquely her.
I also can’t believe how sympathetic and empathetic she can find herself being, even in spite of her own hurt. Even in spite of his much those people may not deserve that sympathy in the moment. She may not realize it, but she is one of the most truly empathetic people that I know.
So, AJA, when you read this, know that I love you and the person that you want to be. Things don’t always go like you planned, but I’m being grateful that you’ve let me be along for the ride for, like, 10 years now. Happy early birthday, bean!

hey y’all! It’s just ACG here tonight to say that I hope everyone has had a great first few days back to school, whether it was high school earlier this month or this past week or two in college!
AJA and I have had pretty good classes so far (AJA has one more to go), and her new job has gone super well so far. The events surrounding it have been crazy, like our 5 year reunion, but the school part has been good.

Hey, y’all! It’s a very tired ACG here tonight.
AJA and I have had a very good, but very busy week. On Wednesday we did a little bit of shopping for some very fun (and useful) things, and we also did a VERY SPONTANEOUS FUN THING that may or may not include new small holes in our ears.
Today, AJA practiced her home repair skills while I spent some time with visiting family, and then she was extremely kind to help me go through every piece of clothing I own tonight.

Hey, y’all! It’s just me tonight, but AJA and I have had a good week full of adventures and new experiences.
I got to ride with AJA and hang out while she trained for a weeklong opportunity with her job, and we got to celebrate Christmas in July with some of our favorite tea while we were there! Then she was willing to help me with a class project that I am very grateful for.

Hey, y’all! It’s ACG here to remind you that Daylight Savings Time is a thing. Hopefully you’re asleep before this gets posted so you can possibly catch that extra hour, but if you aren’t I just wanted to make sure I did my part.
Really, though, time has felt like such a strange concept for the last year. I hope that everyone has been able to lose some time recently, not in the clock jumping back an hour way but in the getting caught up in something you love way. For me, that was last night with AJA and one of our friends as we hung out together. Somehow we all felt like we’d combined about 3 real hours into 1 perceived hour, which was great but also sad. For you it could be painting, reading, playing music, hanging out with friends, watching a movie, or some other hobby; whatever it is, make some time to do it and take care of yourself!

Hey, y’all! It’s just ACG here to check in and let you know that AJA and I are both doing well.
While we haven’t figured out how to write a blog post together in a while, we are figuring out how to do cool things like chord (both instruments and computer keyboard inputs). We’re both enjoying our dogs (hopefully we can get AJA on here to share more about that sometime soon) and plenty of coffee and tea. Honestly, what else do you expect from two upper-level college students? Surely not complete chill. Anyway, we’re working on our classes and looking forward to the successful end of this semester in a couple months.
