The Month of Doom (And Twilight)

Bonjour! Hey, y’all!

As many of you yourselves may know…this is The Month of Doom and Freedom AKA May AKA Our Last Month of High School Month. Yeah, we’re on the three day countdown (or something like that, I’ve lost my ability to count ME TOO! (10+5=25)). I have pretty pureed feelings about it, well blended to the point of super tiredness.

So, to celebrate, what did we do? Of course we watched the series that grew with us through the years of our friendship. (This is the part where I dissolve into tears.) Well, the last couple grew with us, the original ones were out before we met, and I am not talking about Star Wars. This famous (or sometimes more likely infamous) series was none other than Twilight. Yes, we were those girls. We were obsessed with the love triangle of the lipstick-wearing, vegetarian and the vaguely pedophilic, hot headed werewolf. We were a little late to the game, but we made up for the debate by debating other logistics of the execution instead. That turned into reliving the memories from eighth grade on after we finished watching them, though. Neither of us cried, but we also did not acknowledge the countdown exactly, either. It’s hard…to think about the end. I cried watching the last movie for the first time in 2012 because it was the first movie series I’d seen come and go, and it’s hard to see high school come…and go, but those movies still exist and are still watchable and debatable and we still had so much fun watching them and we will still exist after our Tuesday night adventure and we will still have each other and this blog and we will still have so much for and I’m…having to think about it that way, I think. I’m trying not to think about any of it, honestly. We will still have those things and everything else. It won’t all change, even if it feels like it.

Keep your caps in the sock drawer and your gowns in the fridge, fellow graduates of 2016!!! I love y’all and hope we all get through it without too much trauma! ❤ 🙂 😀 😉 😛 :/ 😥 :’D :O 🙂

And no matter what this month is for you, remember to drive safely. It’s road trip season.
