Another Week, Another Failure to Post

Hey, guys! Second year of college is kicking our tails. When we have free time, it’s hard to sit down and make a post, but we promise soon we’ll be back soon with an amazing update. Just give us a bit longer to adapt to the semester, haha.

But for now, drive safely ❤

Love, AJA (and ACG in spirit)

Hey, so ACG and I are The Busiest this weekend. You’ll have to pardon our lack of presence here on the blog. We wish you a Merry Halloween on Tuesday and a good weekend.

Drive safely and put things where they don’t belong! 💟

On A Break, So Let’s Make This Quick

Hey, y’all!!!  Hi!

So, we can’t be long, because we’re at a weekend long Bible study and on supper break. We just wanted to say hey and that you should keep your books in the kitchen and your heads in your purse. 🙂 ❤ 😛 😉 O.O

Drive safely. ❤

Hey, y’all!!! Sorry if I’m a little overeager today, but this week has marked the end of a HUGE accomplishment for us. WE ARE NO LONGER CHILDREN IN THE WORLD OF COLLEGE!!! (aka we completed our first year and are both now at least sophomores 😀 ) Yes we are. Sophomore year is still terrifying to come up because we get to start all over again (I mean, sorta… but at least we know where the least cringe elevators are in a lot of buildings lol, so true), but that doesn’t matter because we are DONE for now. YAASSS!!! 😀

With that, naturally we have stopped using our cognitive processing for at least the first couple weeks of summer. I’ve stopped being able to talk (I apparently cannot type, so this post is a huge accomplishment 😉 ), and we have resorted to filling our time with easier (read as: mindless) and more fun activities (which is anything as long as we’re together instead of me being 130 miles away 😉 AMEN ) .

To be more specific, however, we’ve both taken up playing a few games on our phones or computers. The common games have to do with something near and dear to most everyone’s hearts…pets! The one we both have is Neko Atsume, which is a cat specific game, but ACG is into a game that includes a massive variety of animals. It defies gravity (*restrains my inner musical nerd* #Wicked), so I appreciate that along with the multiple kinds of animals. Also, I got conned into getting Neko Atsume, but I appreciate it so much that I forget AJA “tricked” me into it. ;P (We were talking, and she told me to get it, so I did it on blind faith. Got that right! It was a suggestion! )

Other games we’ve recently enjoyed is an Inside Out game Thought Bubbles, and if you remember summer 2015, you’ll know we loved Inside Out very much! The game is just as cute as the movie, although slightly more infuriating once you get to level 38. @) I think ACG has a version of Candy Crush, she’s playing too. Soda Saga. I can’t stand find the bears, and currently eat the chocolate is eating my lunch, but it’s fine.

I’m sure by the end of this phase we will have found even more games to play, but for now I think we’ve covered them, except AJA has more cat specific games she can tell you all about. 🙂 DON’T MURDER YOUR CATS LIKE I DO BY RUNNING INTO THE SPIKES. MAKE YOUR FINGER MORE ATTRACTIVE. PET YOUR KITTENS REGULARLY! DON’T FORGET YOU HAVE COINS!!!!!!!!!!! Ahem. It’s called Play With Cats, if you’re into that sort of thing. 😉 Blame my college roommate. For probably more than just that game, but that’s for another time. (I’m just kidding, she’s chill.) I don’t have that cat games, but they’ve been cool to observe. Gotta love distracting yourself from reality through pixels, lol.

Drive safely, and don’t play with cats while doing so. 😉 ❤

Keep your cats in pixels and your pixels in the nail polish!  🙂 ;P 😀 ❤ 😉 :O O.o

Shout Out

Hey, y’all, it’s just me, ACG. Now that I’m done rhyming, I’m sorry to have to admit that tonight it is not timing, technology, or even distance separating us and having me post alone but sickness instead. (Don’t worry, I was with her earlier. I don’t think she’s contagious, and she will be fine, just needs rest.)

While she isn’t here to avoid the c word–which is really funny because I generally am the one avoiding it–I need to give a shout out to her and anyone else who is living in a dorm room right now, especially for the first time. How on earth are y’all doing it?!?!?!?

I can’t imagine it. I mean, I can. I was trying to see myself in the role for a while, but to actually execute it? Just watching AJA try to get settled with her roommate and classes is tiring me out. A new person to be in a room with all the time and having to clean everything, procuring food for every meal, and balancing all that with classes? Yikes. All of this and somehow there is supposedly still time for clubs, socializing, and keeping up with everyone back home that demands time? Apparently there is.

That’s all I’ve got to say, because the rest would just be a long long list of things that I don’t understand how people manage to do. So, consider this a shout out to all of y’all that are treading water through this whole adjustment period. I’m quite impressed with everything you’re able to get done and still have time for.

Keep your rings in the boxes and your noses on your faces. 🙂 😀 :/ ❤ 😉 😛

P.S. Feel better soon, AJA! We love you!!!

That Time We Broke A Promise Because of Economics

It’s AJA tonight, and unfortunately  ACG is not replying to my texts currently. I am assuming she’s busy hanging and catching up with her family since she hasn’t seen them in nearly thirty-six hours until tonight. We’ve also been working on economics projects until tonight.

I am so sorry that we suck as badly as we do. We have to break the promise ACG made and post ANOTHER distraction/apology post.

Until next week, drive safely. ❤

A Lazy Day

Today has been one of those days where ACG and I have been a little lazy, which has been nice. It doesn’t help she’s feeling a little under the weather, so I am just here tonight to let you all know that we hope your week has been great and we will be back next week with more words. Until then, drive safely. ❤

Productivity and Pictures

Hello from a lazy Anna with a sore throat and much more productive Anna who is not me! I mean, I’m just assuming ACG is going to tell you hello. Yo. I am only vaguely more productive. (Oh, honey… Don’t even… You’ve been social and productive both.) I played with some “window putty” today that I am pretty sure was playdough. I also sang for over two hours and surprisingly my throat is not sore. Those two things do not make me always more productive than she is. (I meant for the day… Obvs. I’m the one with sticky notes afterall. ;P Whoops…carry on, then.)

AJA and I have a conundrum. Well, we have many, but in relation to absolutely nothing mentioned here, we have our senior pictures and quote due in soon for the yearbook.  There is so much that goes into picking the senior pictures, and quite frankly, it is obnoxious. This problem is mostly over for us really. It was a problem, but our pictures are turned in and our quotes are basically picked. Fine, AJA and I had a conundrum.

You have to have a formal picture. Some people think drape pictures are a must have (which they are not …as a person who likes uniformity, I can see the point of them, but I’m not going to complain). Some think it has to be in a skirt or dress. Some are okay with the fact that it looks vaguely nicer than the other one you picked for your casual.

Basically most people use the casual to express themselves. Sporty people use pictures in their uniform, book nerds (not unlike myself) take pictures with books, or wear an outfit that isn’t exactly “fancy” but speaks on something that they truly love. Some people get told to climb into a tree during their session and end up really loving that picture out of the batch.

I would think every school would do this, but some may not include this last picture. We had to also pick out a baby picture. This one can even be the hardest picture to pick out of all three. Do you pick a formal posed studio infant picture? Do you pick a formal posed studio toddler or below picture? Do you pick a candid? Do you have to be looking at the camera? UGH!!! The possibilities are endless!!! Yeah… I don’t know. This wasn’t that terrible for me? I don’t know why? I think my mom knew exactly which picture she wanted as though that was always the sole purpose of that photo being taken. (I think my mom thought I should care more and be more decisive over my senior year and memories when I asked for help.) *sighs* I love my mom.

Basically senior year brings up more than just the end of an era. It makes you think about an era that came even before you started school…and that’s not cool. But I think (contrary to ACG’s beliefs) that one day it’ll be worth the stress. Maybe. Hopefully. I am sure it will be useful and cool to look back on. That fact does not make me care today, nor does it make me feel like a senior to the point that I feel the need to care. I’m coping by pretending that there is a future that’s better than what she’s expecting, I think. *rolls eyes*

Remember, all photos–like all grades and other numbers–are just a moment of your life and never determine the entirity of it. Also, drive safely (which reminds me: some casuals are taken with cars. This is more particularly a “boy” thing, however. Which is stupid, I almost got one taken with my truck and some of mine are taken with an old truck bed. There was also a witch’s cauldron thing involved in a couple of pictures, as well.)

Always use strings for scissors and keep your tongue in the pool. 🙂 😀 😛 😉 :O
