Hey, y’all! So, I know it’s the middle of the week, but I realized something. AJA’s birthday has only been mentioned once, and it was in passing to debate traditional versus cookie cake. That’s insane!!!
I don’t draw attention to point out that she’s getting older or anything like that. I am posting this because she’s an amazing sister queen to me, has done this for me at least twice, and really deserves somebody–everybody–to post something like this for her.
With that being said, AJA, happy birthday. I don’t post things like this enough, definitely not as much as you do naturally, and I want to be better about that because you’re an amazing person in my life. I don’t know where I’d be without you. You’re my best friend of six years now, it’s coming up on six years since I first spend the night at your house, played Rock Band, or tried to put Sour Patch Kids on anything. In that time we’ve tried to shoot sprinkles (by mutual bad judgement) and probably thousands of other sketch ideas. We’ve gone on crazy adventures and made tradition out of carving a pumpkin about TFIOS.
My point is that you’re a queen that should be recognized for being you more often. You push yourself until you’re exhausted for the people you care about. I think sometimes you worry about upsetting those same people more than you could upset them. You deal with a huge load every day and have taught me how to be brave by still being here and functioning today. There has been a lot of change and things to happen, but you still keep rolling. You’re beautiful and have been such a great addition to my life. Thank you for that, and I hope that this day is as amazing as you are!
Love you! ❤
ACG 😉 O.O 😀 #)
Hey, y’all! It’s just me this week, but hopefully we’ll be back next week with something stellar. 😉
Thankfully AJA’s dad is out of the hospital. Due to some circumstances surrounding that, on top of school starting, she’s still really tired, so that’s why I’m here. We’re praying for her and her family during this time, but for now I’m going to remind y’all to keep your feet in the bucket and your backpacks in the fridge. ❤ 🙂 O.o 😛
Yo! It’s AJA. I’m tired (my dad has been in the hospital since Thursday), so I’m making the executive decision for us to just remind you all to drive safely and keep your IVs in the vein. ❤
GUESS WHAT?!? WE ARE THE OLDEST BEANS ALIVE!!!!!! Hey, y’all! It’s really more like my brother is a growing young bean that makes us feel old (he’s three years younger than us). AND NOW A JUNIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL WHAT THE WHAT EVEN?!? O.O
He’s really confused about why, but we threw him an “upperclassmen party” which means we made him cupcakes and sausage balls and played a card game that I only know adults to play outside of our group of friends. It was great and I hope he appreciates it. We even gifted him a beautiful guide to his classes this coming year! I hope he does, too; there was some great advice in that book. Each class got five rules, and they were specified to the teacher since he’s at such a tiny school. He better love it and us forever. 😉
Seriously, hopefully, this year is great for him and for the rest of us folk returning to school. Amen! I hope it goes well for everyone and they learn a ton and have fun while doing it!
Keep your pencils on go and your brains on caffeine! ❤ 😉 😀 ;P O.O 🙂
Drive safely along your educational journey! ❤
Hello! Hey, y’all! Guess what? School starts in like 2 weeks!!! AHHHHHH That seems QUITE unreal honestly, but that doesn’t mean we can get away with not being prepared. So, today we solved that problem which meant braving the school supplies section at Walmart. And if you use Walmart, you know what that means, and for those of you that don’t, imagine flies at a picnic–everywhere and constantly moving around each other towards what they want.
As ACG will tell you, not all the flies always get what they want, at least not easily. For some reason, a certain school product seemed to be in limited supply. What on earth is wrong with the world? I could not find a five subject college ruled (emphasis on college ruled) notebook anywhere it seemed like. Staples didn’t have one when I looked, and then all Walmart had was wide ruled. The only ones that we found easily were specially bound with spiral and fabric and colored dividers and it was just a crazy headache. What happened to all the college ruled notebooks in the world??? *sighs* Alas, the only conclusion I could reach was that the College Ruled Bohemian Line Tree is going extinct. What a heartbreaking time to be alive. (Don’t worry, we’re not crazy. ACG just made this species of tree up in 9th grade, and it grew into an inside joke. My friends were constantly exasperated at my aversion to using an appropriate amount of paper, especially in math class.) It’s awful! I love the Bohemian Line Tree and think it should be fiercely protected!!! But, I found a notebook and some stickers to decorate it with, and AJA found what she wanted for this school year, too. A big binder with a zipper and a shoulder strap! 🙂
Overall, it was a successful trip to visit the great beast that is Walmart. So, in all your educational pursuits until next time, drive safely. ❤
Keep your hands inside the cart at all times and your smiles in the car after you survive! 😉 ❤ 😀 O.o 🙂 ;P
