1 Year, Also Pumpkins

Wow! I can’t believe that Halloween is here again. It’s been a year. :O

That’s both unbelievable and unbelievable, by which I mean that I can’t believe it’s been a full year! But also, I  can’t believe it’s only been a year? Yeah, it feels crazy.

Our point is, we have another pumpkin for our school’s Pumpkin Extreme Makeover (senior edition). We had some help from another friend outside the Annazzz, but we will still share it with you.

Last year we chose to base our pumpkin off the now exhausted and exploited book, The Fault in Our Stars. This year, however, we took a bit of different turn, though we did stay in a pop culture category, I suppose. This pumpkin featured a scene from the famous, legendary story of The Wizard of Oz.

I’ve yet to figure out whose idea it even was. However, that doesn’t mean it didn’t get carved and that it doesn’t rock.

So, without further ado, here is this year’s pumpkin:

Happy anniversary to this blog, celebrate pop culture pumpkins, and drive safely!

*Sniffs.* It’s been a great first year. Here’s to many more! 🙂 ❤ 😀 😉 😛

A Toast to the Winner

Tonight we are trying something different.

We are proposing a challenge! Yup! It’s a pop culture math inspired challenge, at that. 🙂 And it’s all ACG’s fault. Or our math teacher’s… He can have the credit, I’m satisfied with knowing I’m just this clever. 😉 {I recently retook the emoji world by storm.}

Okay, here it is:

What Star Wars character do you get when you find the diameter of a circle that has a radius of one inscribed inside a larger circle? The larger circle has a diameter of four.

If you have any love for geometry, this should be relatively easy. If not, maybe rely on your love of space-themed movies.

Keep your head in the clouds, but don’t get into arson! (It’s a long story.) 😀 🙂 😛 :/ 😉 O.o  ❤

Drive safely and may the force be with you.

“You’re gonna want this back…”

Welcome to it is 11:00PM and I have NO clue what is going on presented by The Annazzzzzzz! Hi! We’ve spent our night previous to this talking about experiments with gummy worms and what would happen to the earth if everyone lost weight (okay, we just sort of witnessed the last one, but still) (the answer is: nothing. well, it might affect like some minute detail of our lives but not the earth staying in orbit or anything).

In addition to witnessing a group of girls live up to a stereotype, we witnessed a group of boys trying to entertain themselves on a hayride, which resulted in off key singing (well, on my part) of the Jonas Brothers.  It was a lot of fun. We sang one of the only JB songs I know, and no one fell off. I call that a fun and successful time.

Overall, fall is a great time of year, though it does leave us very busy! Yeah, especially fall of our SENIOR YEAR…(I had to point that out.) *CRIES* Ahem… Now that she’s sang “You’re Gonna Miss This” (am I getting that right? Yes…Trace Adkins) and said THAT, it’s time for me to go.

I’m currently listening to “Drive” by Halsey, so I think it’s time to say, “drive safely!” (I love your punny timing …aw, thanks…) XO

Keep your legs, hands, and all objects inside the vehicle at all times. 🙂 😀 😉 😛 ;P :O :X

Throw it back ten years…(bonus points if you get the reference)

Werewolves. That’s all I have to say about it. (Not really, though. Hey, y’all! I just needed to get that out there.)

Hot-headed, over protective, moon maniacs, she means. Ahem. (Shut up, they’re not all bad.)

It’s throwback time. Tonight, we will raise the age old question: vampires or werewolves? *waggles eyebrows as if that’s a thing actual people do* We know my opinion, so let’s get AJA’s out here before we discuss the real pros and cons.

Back in the early days of my discovery of werewolves and vamps, I’d have totally been a crazy, Jacob fangirl. However, today… I must say vampires slay.

To be fair, the weres I’m talking about aren’t completely from Twilight.
One of my main reasons that I like them better is kind of because I already have cold fingertips 94% of the time anyway and don’t have the desire to forever like cold people…? If that makes sense?
There are also all the other cool things about them. They’re strong, protective (they care deeply *cough* overly so *cough*), and they live in packs to stay healthy. There’s always someone else close to you because pack is family.

Basically, the notion of vampires is deeply romantic…and a little sensual, but that’s beside the point. Ahem. It all depends on the vampire’s lifestyle as to how they would be in a relationship. While vamps get a rep for being “cold” (I meant literally cold ^ up there) and “soulless,” it truly depends on the mythology behind your vampires. There are vampires that seek to retain humanity, those who are totally monstrous, and even a few who walk a line between the two. My argument behind this would be that, vampires–if you so choose to believe they retain their souls–are deeply tortured, which is problematically associated with being attractive. So, there’s that. Also, I just really want to have my blood drained, okay?!? Is that too much to ask?!?

“You wouldn’t have to change for me, Bella…” “Flesh, and blood, and warmth…” Okay, I’m done quoting.

Technically Edward didn’t want to change her. Bella and I connect on that level in the wanting to be changed. Like, real talk if she could have Jake and be a vamp, I’m not sure that wouldn’t’ve happened.

Yeah, idk, I like my blood in my body for the most part. Call me crazy, I just think it’s nicer in there. 🙂 😀 😉 😛 O.o ❤

Anyway, whatever side you choose, make sure to drive safely…because neither of these “creatures” are likely to do so, being relatively invincible and all.

Posted in Fall

Hello. I have no clue what we’re talking about, but it is fall (which technically happened last week) and it’s OCTOBER!!! 😀 (Note the rare occurrence of emoticon use from me.)

Hey, y’all… It is fall and that means that some small (and larger, but small towns are better in this aspect sorry no lie) towns start to have their fall activities or annual festivals.

In our small town, we just had one this weekend. It was cool and a little damp but very fun, and full of good food. ❤ The food is “good” but not very healthy to be fair, so I suggest enjoying it in the moment and not planning to eat it again for a whole ‘nother year because otherwise you’re probably going to have some sort of heart attack before you turn twenty. Ha…………………But it is sooooo worth it.

It was a lot of fun, though, and it really kicked off fall and October in the best way possible. Amen!

Yeah, it was great. My advice is that if there is one in your town, check it out. 🙂 😀 😉 😛 ❤ :’D

And on your way, drive safely. ❤
